Alfredo Sauce

This is great whenever we want to get rid of an entire stick of butter. Leftovers are well used as a dip for garlic bread or on roasted potatoes. Taken from https://thesaltymarshmallow.com/best-homemade-alfredo-sauce/.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick unsalted butter

  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • 2 cups freshly grated parmigiano reggiano

Directions

  • Slice the butter into pieces and and add to a skillet with the cream. Bring to a simmer and leave for 2 minutes.

  • Whisk in the spices and cook for one minute.

  • Whisk in the parmesan cheese until melted and uniform.

  • Pour over your pasta.
