Alfredo Sauce
This is great whenever we want to get rid of an entire stick of butter. Leftovers are well used as a dip for garlic bread or on roasted potatoes. Taken from https://thesaltymarshmallow.com/best-homemade-alfredo-sauce/.
Ingredients
1 stick unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 cups freshly grated parmigiano reggiano
Directions
Slice the butter into pieces and and add to a skillet with the cream. Bring to a simmer and leave for 2 minutes.
Whisk in the spices and cook for one minute.
Whisk in the parmesan cheese until melted and uniform.
Pour over your pasta.
